Who is Just Cork-It ?
Many wine making stores, or "brew on premise stores" were developed from the "beer making on premise stores"; originally opened in the 1980's. They started making wine because their customers began asking for it. The type of store that developed by combining the two very different products, was a reflection of the past, a kind of a back room brew house, that also made wine.
As those customers matured they began the search for a more enjoyable place to make their wine. They no longer felt comfortable in the older, dirty environment, sharing the facilities with the younger beer drinking crowd. They were looking for a place that specialized in wine, a place where they could get professional advice about wine and wine making. Somewhere that was owned and operated by someone who shared their passion and interest in the world of wines. They were looking for a place that provided a clean, spacious, relaxed environment equipped with the very best automatic bottling, corking and labeling equipment available on the market.
They simply wanted a store that catered to their needs!
They found it at Just Cork-It!
Just Cork-It was developed for these customers.The first location was opened in the fall of 2000 in the town of LaSalle, Ontario. Word quickly spread throughout the area of this unique store that was like no other. As business grew so did it’s reputation for high quality wine, friendly professional assistance, and a spotlessly clean, organized and warm environment.
In the spring of 2005 Just Cork-It expanded to the community of Amherstburg, it's first franchise store, just 15 minutes south of LaSalle. With a well known and recognized name in the area, customers were confident about the professional service and top quality products they would receive.
Again in 2010 Just Cork-It expanded to the town of Leamington, opening a brand new store in a growing retail area of the town, right beside the new L.C.B.O. store on Sea Cliff Drive. Leamington was waiting for a bright, modern, professional wine making store to come to town. It has been very well received, this store is continuing to grow faster than any newly opened stores in the chain so far.
